EMDR Consultation for Therapists

Strengthen Your EMDR Skills. Build Confidence. Get Support With the Cases That Leave You Stuck.

EMDR consultation is a space to slow down, think through your clinical work, strengthen your understanding of the EMDR model, and receive support as you continue developing as an EMDR therapist. Whether you are pursuing EMDRIA Certification, working through a challenging case, or simply want greater confidence in your EMDR practice, consultation can help you move forward with greater clarity. I provide virtual individual and small-group EMDR consultation for EMDR-trained clinicians in a supportive, collaborative, and practical environment.

How EMDR Consultation Can Support You

You do not have to wait until you feel completely stuck to seek consultation. You may bring a de-identified case, clinical question, treatment-planning concern, or an area of EMDR practice you want to strengthen. Consultation may include support with AIP case conceptualization, treatment planning and sequencing, target identification and selection, preparation and resourcing, readiness for reprocessing, processing blocks and stuck points, cognitive interweaves, protocol application and fidelity, and clinical decision-making. The goal is not simply to tell you what to do, but to help you strengthen your clinical thinking and become more confident in applying EMDR with the clients you serve.

Individual EMDR Consultation

Individual consultation provides dedicated one-on-one time to focus on your specific cases, questions, and professional development needs. This option may be especially helpful when you have a complex case, want more focused attention, are working toward EMDRIA Certification, or prefer the privacy and depth of an individual consultation setting. Individual EMDR consultation is virtual, 60 minutes, and $80 per session.

Group EMDR Consultation

Small-group EMDR consultation offers the opportunity to learn alongside other EMDR clinicians while receiving practical case-based support. Bring a de-identified case or clinical question, learn from the cases and perspectives of other participants, and strengthen your EMDR skills in a supportive professional community. Groups are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of six clinicians. Because consultation time is shared, individual case review is not guaranteed during every group meeting. Group EMDR consultation is virtual, 60 minutes, and $40 per session.

EMDRIA Certification Consultation Hours

As an EMDR Certified Therapist and EMDR Consultant-in-Training (CIT), I can provide eligible consultation hours toward EMDRIA Certification in accordance with current EMDRIA requirements. Clinicians seeking certification hours are responsible for ensuring that their consultation hours meet current EMDRIA requirements, and EMDRIA makes the final determination regarding acceptance of hours and certification eligibility. Consultation is also available to EMDR-trained clinicians who are not currently pursuing certification and simply want continued case consultation, skill development, and professional growth.

A Supportive, Clinician-Centered Approach

My approach to consultation is collaborative, encouraging, and grounded in clinical application. With more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I bring experience in trauma treatment, clinical leadership, supervision, training, and consultation to our work together. My goal is to create a space where clinicians can ask questions, explore uncertainty, strengthen their case conceptualization, and continue developing their own clinical confidence. Faith-informed consultation is also available as an optional component for clinicians who want to explore the thoughtful integration of faith and spirituality in their clinical work.
